Creosote (sometimes called chaparral) is a native Sonoran Desert shrub, used traditionally by indigenous people, early settlers, and modern herbalists here in the Southwest. Among its many other uses, it is a natural sunscreen.
After wild harvesting and air drying, we infuse it for several weeks in skin-nourishing tallow, then strain and add locally sourced beeswax. Smells like a Sonoran rainstorm!
Ingredients: locally sourced tallow that we purified in-house and infused in wild harvested creosote leaves from our Sonoran Desert; and, locally sourced beeswax.
Our creamy tallow is very concentrated, so a little goes a long way.
Beautifully packaged in a 4 ounce reusable Mason jar.
