The Sonoran Desert has been home to people for thousands of years, and the plants that thrive here have long been part of desert life. Sonoran Salve begins with three of them: brittlebush, desert lavender, and creosote.
We wild-harvest these herbs here in the Sonoran Desert and slowly infuse them in locally sourced tallow for many weeks. After straining the herbs, we add Arizona-sourced beeswax to give the salve its smooth, firm texture.
It is a simple salve made from plants of this place, using ingredients we can trace close to home.
